Church of the Santo Daime doctrine - Rio de Janeiro, RJ - Brazil

The Santo Daime was founded in the decade of 30 by Mestre Raimundo Irineu Serra (Mestre Irineu) through the ayahuasca Christianization, which he knew in Peru, around 1918 by the hands of Dom Crescêncio Pizango, heir of the knowledge’s acquired by the King Huascar.

Mestre Irineu, upon the act of drinking the ayahuasca, had a vision with the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception (Queen of the Forest) who ordered and taught him to build the Santo Daime doctrine, name indicated by the same Queen of the Forest, coming from the verb “give” of give me love, give me light, give me strength…

On the right side bar we are displaying some important aspects of the doctrine, as well as the brief history of Mestre Irineu, the founder, and Padrinho Sebastião, his follower and the greatest diffuser of the Santo Daime in Brazil and in the World.
